Armor

Armor isn’t always breastplates and bullet proof vests

Sometimes it’s a corset and fishnets

Sometimes it’s a tux or a jersey

Sometimes it’s stilettos and a cocktail dress

Sometimes it’s full drag

And sometimes it’s a bare face

Armor isn’t always about function

Sometimes it’s about looking in the mirror and feeling invincible

It’s about walking through fire and reveling in the heat

Armor is about charging onto the battlefield and strutting like a model

It’s about staring down the enemy and daring them to make a move

It’s about feeling empowered without feeling fear

Armor is about forgetting fear
